5th Bank Competition

Another hard competition, heavy rain and strong wind, particularly in the afternoon made fishing very difficult.
The 17 members who faced the conditions managed to weigh-in 42 fish.
Darren Williams came first, his 6 fish weighed 4lb 4 1\2oz and included the day's heaviest fish at 14 3\4oz, 2nd was Ray Johnson with 6 fish for 3lb 10oz and 3rd Alan Banwell with 6 fish for 3lb 5 1\2oz.
Jake Richards weighed in a fish to win the Junior Competion.
Winning the Pairs Competition with the best aggregate bag were Ray Morgan and Julian Richards.
Becoming a Member
We welcome new members of all ages, membership runs from 1st March each year for 12 months. Full membership entitles you to enter our club competitions, part membership entitles you access to fish our waters.
Weekly Meeting
Osprey Fly Fishers Association meet every Wednesday at our club house situated on Glancynon Terrace, Abercynon.
