2nd Boat Competition - Pitsford - Saturday, 9th July

Pitsford unfortunately didn't live up to its' reputation. 27 members were eagerly looking forward to the usual excellent fishing we've enjoyed previously on Pitsford, by the end of the day most of us were bitterly disappointed, swarms of damselfly were hatching ouit all over the lake right throughout the day and it seemed as if most of the fish had been absolutely sated on them, all the more credit therefore to those who weighed in reasonable bags of fish.
1st wes Alan Banwell with 6 fish for 16lb 3 1\4oz, 2nd was Darren Williams whose 6 fish weighed 15lb 12oz and included the day's best fish at 4lb 1 1\2oz, Marco Orsi came 3rd with 7 fish for 13lb 1 1\2oz.
The Juniors also did well, 1st Tom Howells with 3 fish for 7lb 2 1\4oz, 2nd Grant Davies with 2 fish for 4lb 63\4oz and 3rd Jac Sampson with 1 fish for 1lb 13oz.

We welcome new members of all ages, membership runs from 1st March each year for 12 months. Full membership entitles you to enter our club competitions, part membership entitles you access to fish our waters.
